The Alabama Association of REALTORS^® (AAR) is a statewide association of 16,600 real estate professionals.  United by adherence to a Code of Ethics, our members work as real estate professionals in the sale, lease, appraisal and development of residential, commercial, rural, and resort properties throughout Alabama.

The Association serves as the voice of the real estate industry in Alabama, as the official advocate of Alabama's multifacted real estate industry before state, local and federal government.  Services provided to members include public policy advocacy, professional and license-related education, several annual meetings and conferences, regular publications including Alabama REALTOR^®, and several other programs and benefits.  The Association also administers the Alabama REALTORS^® Political Action Committee (ARPAC), the official political action committee representing the interests of the Alabama real estate industry.

The Association is headquartered in Montgomery, Alabama across from the State Capitol.  Sherry Dinges is serving as the 2008 President of AAR.  J. Danny Cooper is the Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, having served in that role since 1990.
