Information & Member Services Committee
(According to AAR Bylaws Article VIII, Section 1.E)
1. To develop communication programs
2. To propose affinity programs
3. To recommend board support
4. To propose meeting programs
5. To select award recipients
6. To provide forums for the Institutes, Societies, and Councils
(According to AAR Bylaws Article VIII, Section 3)
Committee Chairs and members shall have such duties as their titles indicate, and as the Board of Directors may assign. All actions of the committees relative to the association’s budget, policies and procedures documents, governmental and political affairs, and to decisions which would have long-term impact on the Association shall be subject to the approval of the Board of Directors.

Committee members are selected by the President-Elect and Treasurer.
(According to AAR Bylaws Article VIII, Section 8)
The chair of the standing committees shall charge and appoint their respective Task Forces to function as authorized by these Bylaws or the Policies & Procedures Manual. The AAR President may appoint special Presidential Advisor Groups (PAGs) as necessary. Committee Chairs and the President shall coordinate these appointments.

Strategic Objectives Pursuant to AAR Business Plan:
4.1 Improve and expand the AAR website to make it “Information Central” while adhering to the NAR core Standards.
a. Publish and distribute Porch & Property, a consumer oriented publication.
h. Standardize the branding, logos, and appearance of AAR publications and marketing materials, to enhance the professional appearance of these publications.
5.1 Conduct member surveys to determine member needs and opinions.
5.4 Evaluate the content and overall benefit of AAR's current annual meetings.
a. Evaluate AAR's meeting attendance and content relative to other state REALTOR® Associations, particularly the balance of governance issues versus the advantages for members outside leadership roles to attend AAR meetings.
