Site Selection Task Force
Charge: (According to Policies and Procedures Manual, Section 4.4.9)
The convention location will be recommended by a Site Selection Task Force comprised of three Convention Committee members selected by the Committee and three Executive Committee members selected by the Executive Committee. The Site Selection Task Force shall make its recommendation to the Board of Directors each year no later than Capitol Conference.
The Site Selection Task Force shall recommend meeting sites up to six years out. It shall take into account membership needs and opinions based on the most recent membership survey. Annual Convention should be in state every three years. The remaining two years in the cycle should have one site easily accessible by car and the other site would have no distance stipulation.
Convention content shall be planned each year by the Convention Committee, with input from the State President.
