The convention location will be recommended by a Site Selection Task Force comprised of three Meetings Program Advisory Group (MPAG) members selected by MPAG and three Executive Committee members selected by the Executive Committee. The Site Selection Task Force shall make its recommendation to the Board of Directors each year no later than Winter Conference.
The Site Selection Task Force shall recommend meeting sites up to six years out. It shall take into account membership needs and opinions based on the most recent membership survey. Annual Convention should be in state every three years commencing in 2000. The remaining two years in the cycle should have one site which would be easily accessible by car and the other site would have no distance stipulation.
Convention content shall be planned each year by the Meetings Program Advisory Group, with input from the State President.
