Brian Sparks has been serving the Birmingham Area Association of REALTORS® since 2003 when he became a local director.  He became Vice President in 2012 and President-elect in 2011.  As the President in 2012, Sparks was the youngest president in the 101 year history of the organization.

At the state level, Brian served on AAR’s Board of Directors in 2003, 2005-2012. He regularly attends AAR’s annual meetings.  His committee work includes being chair of the 2009 AAR Website Presidential Advisory Group and serving on the 2012 Communications Presidential Advisory Group.

Brian serves on the 2013 Executive Committee of the Alabama Association of REALTORS as the Jefferson/Shelby/Blount Regional Vice President.  Sparks has been active both at the state and national levels having served on NAR’s 2012 Board of Directors and the Land Use Property Rights and Environment Committee.
