So, the ink is barely dry on your license: Now what?
Whether you're a new licensee or have been in the business for several years, the Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designation is a great way to successfully boost your career by concentrating on the fundamentals of real estate.
To complete the GRI designation you must complete all three series, a total of 96 hours of classroom time. Each series consist of 32 hours with an exam at the end of the day. Your grade for the series is an average of all your exams. Download the

First Series:
GRI 101 – The Money Pit – Covers Finance & Tax in 16 hours
GRI 102 – Sign and Shine – Covers Contracts & Negotiating in 4 hours
GRI 103 – Order in the Court – Covers Alabama Real Estate Law in 4 hours
GRI 104 – Raising My Appraising – Covers Appraising for the non-appraiser in 4 hours
GRI 105 – Construction Junction – What’s Your Function? – Covers New Construction in 4 hours
Second Series:
GRI 201 – S.W.A.T. – Succeed with Alabama Training – Covers business planning in 8 hours
GRI 202 – Issues & Tissues – Covers Current Real Estate Issues in 8 hours
GRI 203 – The Boiler Room – Making the Client Connection – Covers Strategies for Client Management in 16 hours
Third Series:
GRI 301 – Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader? – Covers Technology Tools in 4 hours
GRI 302 – See No Evil – Speak No Evil – Hear No Evil – Covers Communication in the 21st Century in 4 hours
GRI 303 – Resolution Solutions – Covers Diffusing Disputes in 4 hours
GRI 304 – Don’t Go There – Covers COE and Professional Standards Practices in 4 hours
GRI 305 – The Lean, Green “E” Machine - Covers Environment & Green Building in 8 hours
GRI 306 – It’s A Small World After All – Covers Cultural Diversity & Fair Housing in 8 hours
Cost will be $10.00 per hour earned – (not per course)
