Education

Continuing Education is required by the Alabama Real Estate Commission for all licensees. Although Risk Management is the only mandated course, a requirement of 15 hours every two years must be met for an active licensee.

Operating the largest post license Real Estate School in Alabama, you are sure to find what you need through the Alabama Association of REALTORS®. Many Continuing Education courses (CE) are either 3 or 4 hours and can be completed throughout the year at one of many locations and always at our business meetings annually.

REALTORS® additionally pledge to abide by a Code of Ethics mandated by their membership in the National Association of REALTORS®. This course must be completed on a quadrennial basis and some local boards require shorter intervals.

The ALABAMA GRI PROGRAM (Graduate REALTOR® Institute) has been hailed “outstanding” by several contributors and N.A.R. for its clever use of time, efficiency and maximization for those wanting CE and designations. GRI is on hiatus for 2013 to undergo evaluation and enhancements. Check back for more details.
