Montgomery, Ala.- The Alabama Association of REALTORS® awarded the David D. Roberts, Sr., award to Jimmie Ann Campbell at its annual convention held in Chattanooga, Tenn.

The David D. Roberts, Sr. award is given to an individual who has been a REALTOR® over a period of at least 20 years and who has contributed greatly to AAR, the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) and the REALTOR® member’s local board.

In the past 33 years Campbell, a member of the Montgomery Area Association of REALTORS® (MAAR), has served on the local, state and national level. Her accomplishments include 2003 AAR President, 2009 ARPAC Trustee Chair, 1997 MAAR President, NAR Land Use and Property Rights committee and NAR Fair Housing committee. Campbell served as the local/state president’s roundtable moderator at the NAR annual convention in 1997.

In her civic activities, Campbell is involved in the Girl Scouts of America, March of Dimes, Easter Seals, Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce and she is a member of the Sunshine Kids hall of fame.

Bill Watts, 2008 David D. Roberts, Sr. recipient, spoke of Campbell’s character and passion for the real estate business.

“Known and respected by her fellow REALTORS® from around the state, she epitomizes the REALTOR® spirit and the Code of Ethics both personally and professionally,” said Watts. “Jimmie Ann is a true leader,” he added.
