MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Gov. Robert Bentley addressed REALTOR® members at the Alabama Association of REALTORS® (AAR) January Leadership Conference held at the Embassy Suites Hotel.
Every year Alabama REALTORS® travel to the capital city to conduct business and network with fellow members. This year the conference concluded with Gov. Bentley speaking during the Board of Directors’ meeting.
2011 AAR President Robert Scott expressed his gratitude to Gov. Bentley for taking time to speak to the members during his busy first week as governor.
“We were so thankful Gov. Bentley could make time to speak to our members,” said Scott. “His words were very encouraging and I know our members truly appreciated his visit.”
Bentley challenged members to focus on their professions and work together while Alabama recovers from the recession.
“Lets do everything we can to get people back working, so they can afford to buy a home,” said Bentley. “We’ve got some tough days ahead of us but they’re not problems that are insurmountable. If we work together, and I know that we’re going to do that, we can solve the problems that face us today.”
The Alabama Association of REALTORS® is the voice of real estate in Alabama. AAR is the trade association for real estate professionals who work in the residential, commercial property management, resort and appraisal markets.
