May has shown an increase with statewide REALTOR® membership, with a total of 18,655¹ members, reflecting an increase of 479 members or 2.64% growth compared to May of last year. 

Overall membership across all categories now totals 18,813, representing a year-over-year increase of 416 members, or 2.26% growth.

Alabama REALTORS® is experiencing growth in 10 out of 23 local boards, with double-digit growth in 1 board.

Based on the most recent available comparison data from the National Association of REALTORS®, Alabama’s current membership is 18,116, reflecting a 0.77% increase from the last month.

Alabama REALTORS® currently rank 9th among medium-sized states, with Washington REALTORS® reporting the highest membership growth (+1.44%).
