Bill Restoring Historic Tax Credit Passes Senate Committee

SB 262, The Alabama Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credit Bill, sponsored by Senator Jabo Waggoner (R-Vestavia Hills) and 28 co-sponsors, passed the Senate Committee on Finance and Taxation Education last week following a public hearing. READ MORE HERE. 

Bill Would Force the Annexation of Private Property into City Limits
SB 266, sponsored by Senator Linda Coleman-Madison (D-Birmingham) and commonly known as “Doughnut Hole Annexation Legislation,” would authorize an additional annexation method to allow municipalities to annex unincorporated territory that is 15 acres in size or less and that has been enclosed within the corporate limits of municipality for a period of one year or more. READ MORE HERE.

Bill to Expand Broadband Internet Access Passes Senate Committee
