On Friday, October 14, 2016 the Alabama REALTORS® Board of Directors voted to approve a special membership assessment of $36 per member per year for five consecutive years. The assessment will apply to all member classifications beginning January 1, 2017.  Your Executive Committee put forth this recommendation after working closely with the Financial & Budget Review Presidential Advisory Group (PAG) over the past several months to evaluate and assess the Association’s finances and recommend ways to make our Association stronger financially. The purpose of this special membership assessment is to replenish operating reserves, support operational functions and meet 2017 objectives.  

Alabama REALTORS®' core mission has been and always will be to be the Voice of Real Estate in Alabama. The cornerstones of that mission are advocacy, legal, ethics and professional development. This assessment will help provide for the operation of Alabama REALTORS® in a manner necessary to meet the expectations of our members and fulfill the mission statement of the state association.
