Professional Standards/Code of Ethics Enforcement
Time Commitment: Moderate
Enhancing the level of professionalism and accountability in the REALTOR® community is a growing issue across the country. Participate in this important process through serving on a panel, committee, mediation or arbitration, and help raise the bar of professionalism and adherence to the REALTOR® Code of Ethics in Alabama.


2020 Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI) Program
Time Commitment: Moderate
The Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI) symbol is the mark of a real estate professional that has made the commitment to provide a high level of professional services by securing a strong educational foundation. The 2020 GRI Program will offer a blend of CE and non-CE coursework that focuses on essential business development skills of every top producer at six locations across the state in 2020. The GRI designation requires 51 hours of GRI core coursework and 12 elective hours and is one of the best investments a real estate professional can make in their business and future success. 


2020 GRI Networking Receptions
Time Commitment: Low
The newly redesigned 2020 GRI program provides exclusive opportunities to network with the best of the best. Members who have earned the GRI designation will be invited to networking receptions at each GRI session available only to GRI designees and those enrolled in the current GRI program. This is a great opportunity for GRI designees and those seeking their designation to build relationships and their referral network.


GRI Education Instructor and Faculty
Time Commitment: Moderate
Great instructors are the key to enhancing the quality of education and professional development opportunities for our members.  Help raise the bar in professionalism by learning what it takes to become a GRI education instructor and pass on the knowledge that you have gained in your career to your fellow REALTORS®.


Leadership AAR Class of 2021
Time Commitment: High
Leadership AAR is a leading development program for current and future real estate, business, community, and association leaders. The program provides participants an opportunity to grow, learn, and build lifetime relationships with fellow class participants. The program includes top leadership instructors, guest speakers and panelists that range from business leaders to state and federal public servants from across the Southeast, and a trip to Washington D.C. to meet with congressional leadership. 


Leadership AAR Trustees
Time Commitment: High
Leadership AAR Trustees are responsible for overseeing the Leadership AAR program and helping develop the next generation of real estate, business, community, and association leaders.


Grievance Committee
Time Commitment: Moderate
The Grievance Committee receives ethics complaints and arbitration requests from local boards and members-at-large when appropriate and determines whether a hearing is warranted.


Professional Standards Committee
Time Commitment: Moderate
The Professional Standards Committee is responsible for promoting the understanding, practice, and enforcement of the REALTOR® Code of Ethics and for providing hearing panels for ethics and arbitration hearings when appropriate. 


Professionalism Trustees
Time Commitment: Moderate
Professionalism Trustees are responsible for planning and offering a comprehensive program of professional development opportunities for members of the Association.
