Dear AAR Directors, 

We  apologize for the emails but need to provide a quick update- we just received news from NAR’s efforts in Washington that the Department of Homeland Security has amended its previous advisory memorandum from March 19 and issued new guidance today March 28 that designates real estate activities as an essential services. Also included are construction, lending, title, and property management activities. (See pages 10,12,13,14, and 15 of the memo attached)

This will be extremely helpful as we continue to advocate for real estate services to continue at the state and local level.  The HHS advisory language will be helpful for state and local governments leaders as they consider setting standards for what constitutes essential services in their communities. 

This is good news. Great job by NAR.
