Remember to file your income tax return by July 15. In March, the IRS and the Alabama Department of Revenue (ADOR) extended the normal deadline of April 15 by three months due to COVID-19. The IRS reminds tax filers that an extension is possible until October 15 if the appropriate form is filed, but penalties for late payment of taxes due may occur. Also, according to ADOR, 2020 quarterly tax payments due between April 1 and July 15, 2020, are due on July 15 as well.  For more federal and state information, see here and here respectively.
