Last week, housing sector workers, including real estate agents, were included in the expanded COVID-19 vaccine rollout. Starting March 22, Governor Kay Ivey and the Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH) expanded the eligibility for the vaccine to Phase 1c. Under ADPH’s vaccine allocation plan (here), Phase 1c includes Alabamians age 55 and older, age 16 to 64 with certain high-risk conditions, additional critical workers, or who have an intellectual or developmental disability. ADPH confirmed to Alabama REALTORS® that the expanded list of critical workers includes real estate agents.
