Dear AAR Board of Directors,

Thank you to all of you who attended the Annual Conference at the Grand Hotel in Fairhope. It was so great to be together and see everyone.

We are writing to request you please save the date for our first meeting of the 2022 Board of Directors on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 9:30am at the Alabama Association of REALTORS® Building at 522 Washington Avenue, Montgomery, AL. Sign-in will begin at 9:00am.

The purpose of the meeting will be to conduct annual board training and orientation; review goals for 2022; and consider several governance proposals. A resource page to review the meeting information can be found here. Here is a brief overview of the proposals:

Motion 1- Board of Directors: The governance proposal will amend policy to make technical corrections to the absence policy for directors.

Motion 2- Code of Ethics Citation Policy: The governance proposal will amend the current citation policy to reflect recent updates to NAR’s standards of practice.

Please let us know if you will not attend the Board of Directors meeting. This meeting is for the 2022 AAR Board of Directors. Space and overflow seating will be limited. Parking will be available at the Association’s Parking lot at 502 Washington Avenue. The attire is business casual, and we will have a holiday lunch following the meeting at 12:00pm for the AAR Directors in attendance. Following lunch, we will have a Membership Meeting to consider several governance proposals from the Governance PAG at 1:30pm.
