Over 130 Alabama REALTORS® attended the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Annual Conference in San Diego on November 10 – 15, 2021. Members were delighted to meet in person in sunny San Diego, and NAR did not disappoint! There was something for everyone from the first-time participant to the pro; networking, education, special events, and a trade show filled with hundreds of welcoming exhibitors to share business products.

Top of mind for the 10K national members in attendance were the Governance and MLS recommendations brought forward to the Board of Directors for consideration. Alabama has 10 representatives on the NAR Board of Directors who make decisions on behalf of all REALTORS® from across the country. Alabama REALTOR® of the Year (ROTY), Kim Hallmark, walked the stage along with 51 other state (including Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands) ROTY honorees to kick off general session. Keynote speakers included Drew Brees and Simone Biles. Congratulations to Sid Pugh, of the Huntsville Area Association of REALTORS®, for being recognized as REALTOR® Emeritus.  Huntsville Association received top accolades as well for their participation in C2EX.

Alabama REALTORS® looks forward to the next in-person NAR REALTORS® Conference & Expo held in Orlando, Florida in 2022.
