Beau Goss from the Morgan County Association of REALTORS® is the 2021 recipient of the Alabama REALTORS® Mickey Phillips REALTORS® for Children Award. This award recognizes the efforts of a member who has devoted time and resources to unselfishly invest in projects or programs focusing on the needs of children.

Beau has demonstrated his dedication to helping children in need in numerous ways, such as his volunteer work with Sleep in Heavenly Peace, an organization that builds beds for kids who don’t have one of their own. He even went so far as to purchase a truck, using his own money, for the organization to use to help build and deliver the beds. He has also led several fundraising events for the organization over the years and was able to secure a warehouse for his chapter to use rent-free for a year.

An active member of his church, Beau has taught Sunday School for 9-12th graders for the past 10 years and is a regular chaperone on mission trips. He and his wife also served as foster parents and have adopted two children that were placed with them and their biological daughter.
