Statewide Membership
Strong growth continued in the first month of 2022 with statewide membership currently at 18,839¹, which is up 1,330 members, a 7.6% increase since the end of January last year.
Local Membership
Alabama REALTORS® saw a steady increase in membership this month due to growth at 19 out of 24 boards with double-digit growth at seven of those boards.
Large Boards
- Huntsville Area Association: 8.95%
- Baldwin County Association: 8.25%
- Birmingham Area Association: 8.11%
- Montgomery Area Association: 7.73%
- Mobile Area Association: 6.81%
Medium Boards
- Walker Area Association: 15.38%
- East Alabama Board: 12.34%
- Wiregrass Board: 11.24%
- Calhoun County Area Board: 10.62%
- Southeast Alabama Association: 10.47%
- Tuscaloosa Association: 9.05%
- Lee County Association: 8.73%
- Athens-Limestone Association: 6.86%
- Cullman Association: 5.68%
- Lake Martin Area Association: 3.01%

Small Boards
- Eufaula Board: 16.28%

National Membership
According to the NAR Membership Report², NAR has a total of 1,527,792 members, which is an addition of 76,975 members for a 5.31% increase from the end of January 2021. For states in the medium category, Alabama had the second-highest year-over-year membership growth for a total of 7.66% and is ranked eighth among all states for year-over-year membership growth.
