Dear AAR Board of Directors,

I hope this letter finds you well and making preparations for a fun Thanksgiving holiday with your families! In follow up to our November 15, 2022, letter, we are looking forward to seeing you at our next AAR Board of Directors Meeting on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at 10:00am at the Alabama Association of REALTORS® Building at 522 Washington Avenue, Montgomery, AL. Sign in will begin at 9:30am.

The purpose of the meeting will be to conduct annual board training and orientation; review goals for 2023; discuss economic trends affecting our members’ businesses; environmental scanning of legal challenges; update the board on pending Association projects; get feedback on future Association business; and conduct other Association business. A resource page to review the meeting information such as the AGENDA, MINUTES, and other meeting materials can be found here. The Real Estate Alabama (REA) Newsroom on the AAR Website is another great resource that can be found here. With respect to the annual board training, please take time in advance of the meeting to watch the board of director training video with Bob Harris that can be found on the AAR Board of Director resource page. The video is designed to prepare our directors for the year ahead and is a short 30 minutes in duration.

Please let us know if you will not attend the Board of Directors meeting. This meeting is for the 2023 AAR Board of Directors. Space and overflow seating will be limited. Parking will be available at the Association’s Parking lot at 502 Washington Avenue. The attire is business casual, and we will have a holiday lunch following the meeting at 12:00pm for the AAR Directors in attendance.
