Statewide Membership
Year over year growth took a slight decline in May of 2023 with statewide membership currently at 18,819, which is down 381 members, a 1.98% decrease since the end of May last year.
Local Membership
Alabama REALTORS® saw a steady increase in membership this month due to growth at ten out of twenty-three boards with double-digit growth at three of those boards.
Medium Boards
- Calhoun County Area Board: 4.21%
- Cullman Association: 7.91%
- East Alabama Board: 3.98%
- Lake Martin Area Association: 0.58%
- Marshall County Board: 8.62%
- Tuscaloosa Association: 4.04%
- Walker Area Association: 37.74%
- Wiregrass Board: 2.21%
Small Boards
- Eufaula Board: 17.02%
- Talladega Board: 15.15%
National Membership
According to the NAR Membership Report, NAR has a total of 1,550,720 members. For states in the medium category, Alabama had the fifth highest year over year membership growth for a total of 0.83%.
