Statewide Membership
Strong growth continued in June with statewide REALTOR® membership currently at 18,667, which is up 432 members, a 2.4% increase since the end of June last year.
Overall year over year growth, which previously included all affiliate members, saw a slight decline in June of 2023, which is down 369 members, a 1.91% decrease since the end of June last year. Overall membership remains steady at 18,911[1].
Local Membership
Alabama REALTORS® saw a steady increase in membership this month due to growth at ten out of twenty-three boards with double-digit growth at three of those boards.
Medium Boards
- Calhoun County Area Board: 5.34%
- Cullman Association: 7.97%
- East Alabama Board: 2.81%
- Lake Martin Area Association: 2.33%
- Marshall County Board: 8.43%
- Tuscaloosa Association: 2.61%
- Walker Area Association: 35.02%
- Wiregrass Board: 2.19%
Small Boards
- Eufaula Board: 19.15%
- Talladega Board: 26.47%
National Membership
According to the NAR Membership Report¹, NAR has a total of 1,559,807 members. For states in the medium category, Alabama had the fifth highest year over year membership growth for a total of 0.64%.
