Statewide Membership

July has shown strong growth with statewide REALTOR® membership reaching 18,726[1], an increase of 431 members, a 2.36% increase since the end of July last year. 

Overall year-over-year growth, which previously included all affiliate members, experienced a slight decline in July of 2023, with a decrease of 381 members, representing a 1.97% decrease since the end of July last year. Despite this dip, membership remains steady at 18,973[1].

Local Membership

Alabama REALTORS® saw a steady increase in membership this month due to substantial growth at six out of twenty-three boards with double-digit growth at four of those boards. 

 

Medium Boards

  • Calhoun County Area Board: 9.69%
  • Cullman Association: 10.11%
  • Marshall County Board: 7.22%
  • Walker Area Association: 33.64%

Small Boards

  • Eufaula Board: 16.67%
  • Talladega Board: 25.71%

National Membership

According to the NAR Membership Report, NAR has a total of 1,566,354 members. For states in the medium category, Alabama had the fourth highest year-over-year membership growth for a total of 0.67%. [2]
