Over 100 Alabama REALTORS® attended the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Annual Conference in Anaheim, CA on November 12-17, 2023. Members enjoyed networking, education sessions and explored exhibitors at the EXPO.

To commence the event, Alabama REALTORS® President RaJane Johnson welcomed members from across the state and region at the Alabama Welcome Reception. Later in the week, NAR installed the 2024 Leadership Team, which will be led by President Tracy Kasper. Notable conference moments included insights from NAR Chief Economist Lawrence Yun on the outlook for the residential housing market and commercial real estate as well as NAR Chief Advocacy Officer Shannon McGahn outlining NAR Policy Priorities. Other Keynote speakers included Mindy Kailng and Kurt Warner. 

Alabama REALTORS® member AshLee Vaughn was honored for graduating from NAR’s 2023 Leadership Academy. Congratulations on your hard work and dedication, AshLee!

Finally, the NAR Board of Directors met and deliberated on Governance and MLS recommendations for consideration.  Alabama has 13 representatives on the NAR Board of Directors who make decisions on behalf of all REALTORS® from across the country.
