
Governor Ivey Reappoints Jimmie Ann Campbell to Alabama Real Estate Commission

Gov. Kay Ivey has reappointed longtime AAR member, Jimmie Ann Campbell, to a new five-year term as the Second Congressional District representative on the Alabama Real Estate Commission effective October 1, 2025. The appointment was confirmed by the Alabama Senate.
She originally assumed her AREC seat in 2021.
“Jimmie Ann has brought invaluable leadership to both AREC and AAR, and she and has consistently demonstrated her commitment and devotion to the real estate industry,” Alabama REALTORS® CEO Jeremy Walker said. “The strength of her character and her the example she sets for others have made a lasting impact, and our state is fortunate to have a person of her caliber in this role.”
A REALTOR® for more than 40 years, Campbell is a Montgomery native with a long history of leadership and service. She is a past president of both the Montgomery Area Association of REALTORS® and Alabama REALTORS®.
A former chair of the Alabama REALTORS® Political Action Committee, commonly known as ARPAC, Campbell is a member of the ARPAC Hall of Fame.
She was also state president of the Women’s Council of REALTORS® in 1994 and served as its Alabama Governor a year later.
