AAR Seeks Members for 2026 Code of Ethics Panels, Professional Standards, Grievance Committees, and Legal Forms Review Task Force
September 26, 2025
Alabama REALTORS® is actively seeking members who are interested in getting involved in two important areas:
Code of Ethics Enforcement Process
There are several opportunities available in this area, including the chance to serve as panelists for the Code of Ethics Panels and arbitration hearings. You can also choose to become a member of either the Professional Standards or Grievance Committees. The time commitment for these roles will depend on the number of complaints and requests for arbitration received throughout the year. These committee meetings are held virtually whenever possible. Please note that there will be a mandatory virtual training session scheduled for this winter to ensure you are well-prepared for your role.
Legal Forms Review Task Force
This task force plays a crucial role in our organization by developing and maintaining statewide legal contracts specifically tailored for our members. Our objective is to create contracts that not only meet the highest standards of quality but also have the potential to become the industry standard. The Task Force meets five to six times throughout the year, most meetings being virtual.
Legal Lab Review Group

The Legal Lab Review Group is charged with providing valuable input and feedback on AAR’s legal forms, with a primary focus on member education and satisfaction. This group helps ensure that our forms remain relevant, practical, and responsive to the needs of REALTORS® and their clients.
If you are interested in participating in the Alabama REALTORS® Code of Ethics Enforcement process or the Legal Forms Review Task Force, please fill out the information below. The deadline to submit is October 7.
