The GRI program is focused on practical business skills and equipping top-producing REALTORS® with essential tools. Each course is designed to empower REALTORS® to expand their market knowledge, business growth, and apply professional standards to overcome the real life challenges they encounter daily. Stand out in your market by earning your GRI designation and serving your clients with a higher level of professionalism! 
The program consists of a total of 63 hours, featuring 48 hours of mandatory core courses and 15 hours of elective courses.  All GRI Core courses will be exclusively offered at the local level, ensuring accessibility and relevance to the specific needs of REALTORS® in their region.

What is Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI)?

The Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI) symbol is the mark of a real estate professional that has made the commitment to provide a high level of professional services by securing a strong skills-based educational foundation. The GRI is one of the best investments a real estate professional can make in their business and future success.

How do I sign up for a class?

All GRI Core courses are offered exclusively on the local level. Please contact your local association for opportunities in your area or visit the coursework page for a current list of classes.

How many hours are required?

The GRI requires 63 hours to graduate. 48 hours are from our core curriculum, and 15 hours are electives chosen from our approved list.

How long does it take to complete?

Due to the recent change to the GRI structure, those that started in 2021 or 2022 have 3 years to complete their GRI. An extra year compared to the standard two-year timeline.

Which classes should I take?

You will need to take all 11 GRI core credits for a total of 48 hours in addition to 15 hours of elective credit.

Can I receive CE credits for these courses?

There are two courses eligible for CE credit, Contracts, and Avoiding Setbacks, Fines & Lawsuits.

What if I have already taken GRI courses under the previous program?
