Alabama REALTORS®, please be aware of a resurfaced scam targeting Florida real estate licensees, specifically joint licensees of Alabama and Florida. We first notified you of this scam in March when many Florida REALTORS® received “Final Notice” bills in the mail from a fake board.

Recently, there have been more reports of licensees receiving requests for money on a form from the Florida Real Estate Board, which does not exist. Now, the request is coming in an Alabama Real Estate Commission envelope. The letter inside includes a website and a “make check payable to” with an address for a post office in Deerfield Beach, Fla.
