Please be aware of an email scam targeting Alabama REALTORS®. The email, supposedly from the Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD), claims to be providing notice of a suspended license due to misconduct. The fraudulent email is not from HUD, the National Association of REALTORS® or the Alabama REALTORS®. Please do not click any of the links and delete the email immediately upon receipt.

The subject of the email reads, “IMPORTANT: Suspension of Real Estate License!” and is posed to be from donotreply@hud-us.gov. 

As always, if you receive a suspicious email/mail/solicitation from Alabama REALTORS®, please let us know and we will be happy to clarify or look into it further.
